There are several reasons why one should love kayaking. People who love to be with nature or people who love to go fishing or someone who might just need some fun on the water would love kayaking. Kayaking is a great outdoor activity which can help you in different ways. There are various reasons to love kayaking, and we will talk about few of them.

1. Kayaking is fun:

Most of the people love kayaking because it’s fun. It’s fun in several ways. If you just like messing around the backyard pond, you may take a chilling journey for an hour on the lake, or you may go kayak fishing. There are several ways to have fun on kayaking time.

 

2. Spending some quality time:

Kayaking is considered to be quality time for all the kayaker. It doesn’t matter whether if you are new to kayaking or an expert, you will surely have a quality time. Just do some paddling, and you will learn that by yourselves.

 

3. Camping or touring with kayak:

I love to camp and most of my friends also. We go for camping with our kayak, and we have lots of fun. It’s always great to go to a forest or some remote place with our kayak and light up the beach and sleep in the tent. This feels heaven to me. You will be surprised to know that most of the kayaker once went for a single camping to a remote place with their kayak. If you haven’t done this, then you wouldn’t know the experience. I highly suggest you do that but take necessary precautions and learn how to kayak first.

 

4. Making new friends:

If you are kayaking in the local neighborhood or even in the sea, you will notice that some other kayakers are floating there with you. You can always wave at them or show proper gesture towards them. Most of the kayakers are very friendly with other kayakers. I made many friends while kayaking and they are a big part of my life now.

 

5. For fitness purpose:

Kayaking is a very good exercise as you use your muscles to go through the wave or to go forward. It’s like having fun while exercising and it’s cool. One of my friend’s grandfather goes for kayaking because it does two things for him: having fun and exercising at the same time. While paddling it will increase your body strength, flexibility, and physical strength too.

 

6 Lost in nature :

Kayaking will connect you with nature. Kayaking will take you to the soothing natural environment where you will not only start loving the nature but you will find yourself again. We are supposed to have a good bonding with nature but we are escaping from nature for a long time. We should go camping, or go to the forest, travel to places, explore the land and embrace the beauty of nature. You can get all of these via kayaking. Get a good kayak for you and start doing these stuff. These are extremely important in our life as life is short, and we should make the most out of it.

 

7. Stay cool in the summer

Even though people from cold areas do kayaking but kayaking is very popular in warm places. If you live in a warm place, then you may want to go for kayaking in the summer. Those summer days want you to go to the lake or river or ocean and face the sun. Don’t forget to take nutritional sports drinks.

 

8. Go for kayaking on any places  :

Kayaking is possible on any types of water. It doesn’t matter whether you are kayaking on the pond or the ocean or river. You can take the kayak with you and take a quick tour at the lake anytime. It’s cool, and it is fun to spend some quality time. Some people love to kill their times on football, some playing games, and some go for kayaking. If you are fond of water, then you will enjoy kayaking.

 

9. Stress relief:

One of the best reasons why you will love kayaking is that it kills stresses. I used to be an anxious person and had a lot of stress in my life. One day I saw a person kayaking on the TV and then I decided my mind and next day I got a sit on top kayak for myself and started kayaking immediately. Trust me I felt that all my stress went away.

 

10. To get soaked:

Well, who doesn’t want to get soaked in the summer except for the people from cold areas? I don’t know about you, but most of the people do love to get soaked in the summer. I love to get soaked in anytime, and I love it. If you are like me, then you will love kayaking too.
